The Fusion Apollo MS-RA800 Marine Stereo is a touchscreen marine head unit with built-in Wi-Fi, a 4.3-inch 800 x 480 capacitive color display and a Class D amplifier rated at 4 x 40 watts RMS into 4 ohms. It is the first Fusion stereo to support high-resolution lossless audio, and AirPlay 2 streaming from Apple devices runs over its Wi-Fi connection.
Source options include AM/FM, Bluetooth 5.3, AirPlay 2, HDMI ARC, USB audio (MP3, AAC/ALAC, FLAC and WAV) and two auxiliary inputs, with ports for a DAB+ antenna. Multi-Zone technology controls four audio zones, each with line, subwoofer and RCA pre-outs for external amplification, and custom DSP profiles are configured through the Garmin Audio app. Ethernet and NMEA 2000 ports allow networking with other Apollo stereos and control from a compatible Garmin chartplotter, smart device or Garmin watch.
The RA800 shares the RA770's form factor, so it fits an existing RA770 cutout. It accepts 10.8 to 32 VDC, which covers 12-volt and 24-volt boats, and the edge-to-edge glass front is rated IPX6 and IPX7 when properly installed. Software updates are delivered over the air through the Garmin Audio app or by USB, and the stereo carries a 3-year warranty.
